The space Our cosy Shepherd's Hut combines rustic charm with modern comfort, providing a peaceful retreat in the countryside. Inside, you'll find a comfortable double bed, a warm log burner, a fully equipped kitchen, a coffee maker, and an en-suite bathroom with a power shower. Step outside to enjoy a secluded area with stunning views from the private seating space. For evenings spent outdoors, a fire pit and gas BBQ are available, perfect for alfresco dining. Guest access The Shepherd’s hut is situated on land above our cottage and is accessed via a flight of stone steps and a gravel path. It is a relatively steep walk, but there are rails and lights to assist. Please note the site is not suitable for those with mobility problems. The Shepherd's Hut is approached via a hard-stoned path leading to the seating area and the oak steps up to the Hut’s interior. The Shepherd's hut is sited to maximise the views, it is surrounded by gardens - a wildflower area, a vegetable patch and a flower garden. Immediately outside the hut is a patio/seating area with a bistro table and two further chairs for relaxing on. Cars are left in the car parking area below the Shepherd's hut. Other things to note Explore the Peak District from Your Doorstep Our shepherd’s hut offers direct access to stunning walking trails, including the Limestone Way. Discover quaint villages like Winster, Cromford, Hartington, and Bakewell, each with charming cafés, historic sites, and scenic walks. For history lovers, National Trust gems such as Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, and Chatsworth House are within easy reach.
