However, please note that after heavy rain, some debris may wash through the screen and temporarily affect the water's appearance—this is normal and clears up quickly. There is no lifeguard on duty, so please swim at your own risk and keep a close eye on children at all times. For everyone's safety and to avoid accidents, glass is strictly prohibited in the pool area. Broken glass can shut down pool fun for everyone. We've provided safe, unbreakable dishes and drinkware, please use those when enjoying your time by the water. Stay safe, relax, and have a fantastic time! - **Pool Heating** Pool heat is optional and available for $35 per day and can only be booked for the entire duration of your stay. Please request it at least 48 hours before arrival so we can ensure it's ready. No exceptions. The heater works via heat exchange, so during colder weather, it may not reach high temperatures. If you choose to use it during chilly days and the water doesn't warm up as expected, no refunds will be issued. We are also unable to activate/deactivate the pool heater on short notice or provide refunds for previously ordered pool heater service. The heater features a built-in safety system that may cause it to pause if it becomes overworked—this is normal and helps protect the equipment. We reserve the right to make the pool heat unavailable at any time for maintenance or repairs. In case of a technical malfunction, we will refund the pool heat charge for the time the heating service was not available to you. No further credit will be given if pool equipment fails or is unavailable for any reason. - **Trash Disposal:** Trash is collected Monday through Saturday. Please place bagged trash in the bin near the front door. The resort only accepts properly bagged trash loose items will not be picked up. We provide starter trash bags under the sink, and there's a Walmart just 6 minutes away for any extras. Please place trash in the plastic bin daily to maintain cleanliness. - **Housekeeping:** The home is professionally cleaned and sanitized between each guest stay. Our cleaning team adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness, and we provide fresh sheets and towels for every visitor. Please note that the cleaning fee covers only standard cleaning; additional charges will be incurred for deep cleaning if there is excessive dirt, trash, moldy dishes, soiled rugs, or stains on towels and linens, including urine. Daily housekeeping service is not included in the rental rate, but mid-stay cleaning services can be requested for an additional fee. **Linens & Towels:** We provide fresh, high-quality linens and towels for your comfort. We kindly ask guests to please treat them with care. If any items become permanently stained or damaged beyond normal use and cannot be restored by our cleaning team, guests will be responsible for the replacement cost. **Pest Control Notice:** Our home is professionally serviced for pest control on a regular basis to maintain a clean and comfortable environment. However, due to Florida's tropical climate, it's common to occasionally see insects—including ants, palmetto bugs, and even roaches—from time to time, even in spotless homes. While this can be unpleasant, it's unfortunately part of the natural environment here and not always fully preventable. If you happen to notice a significant issue or feel concerned about the number of bugs, please don't hesitate to reach out—we're happy to follow up and address it as best we can. - **Online Purchases:** If an online seller uses USPS, deliveries may not reach the vacation home, as the Post Office does not recognize vacation homes as regular addresses; packages may be returned to the sender. UPS, DHL, and FedEx deliver to the resort. We are not responsible for issues related to online purchases.
