Yurt in New Paltz

Picture a private yurt in the woods, accessible by a small path. Everything lit up with fairy lights, a magical view at night! A few steps further back, there's an other clearing with your own personal fire pit w free firewood. Its easy to start a roaring fire with the provided torch. Just bring food and drinks and ice for ultimate relaxation! A camp stove, pots, tea kettle, French press, coffee, tea, sweetness, creamer provided! Cooler, condiments, plates, utensils, foil, etc! The space A private woodsy camping experience in a cozy yurt w a comfy full size bed! Hot shower, camp kitchen set up w camp stove and cooler. Screened lounging/dining area with super comfy chairs. There is a screen in hammock and an amazingly odorless outhouse!! Further back is an other cleared area with a private fire pit and adirondack chairs, inc unlimited firewood!! All essentials are included! No extra fees! 4 minutes to popular Brooklyn Cider and about 8 minutes to New Paltz which has a wide variety of fabulous restaurants and shops! The area is know for amazing hiking trails and other outdoor adventures Guest access Free parking, self check in by message, then a 200 step trail past our chicken coop and garden, through a wooded area with a clearing for the 13'x13' canvas yurt, 'kitchen' area, odorless outhouse with on demand hot water for outside shower (just steps from the yurt), hammock w screen and 12'x12' screen tent, all lit up with fairy lights! An other short path leads further into the woods to your private fire pit which has adirondack chairs and unlimited firewood. Fire pit has a grill for cooking and torch for failproof fire starting!! Other things to note Before you book during the late fall, please check the weather for the New Paltz area as it does go down into the 30s at night. There is a heater in the yurt and it stays very cozy but the outhouse/shower is not heated. So only for the hardy! You can cancel up until the day before in case the forecast shows colder nights! We want to be sure that you enjoy your stay!! There is plenty of free firewood and the shower water is good and hot. The ground is uneven in spots, with rocks and roots so please take care and look where you walk. Unfortunately, there is sometimes noise, during the day only, from a shooting range. We have a screen room and spray each week for mosquitoes with an organic spray, but not with pesticides as our mini homestead is as eco friendly as possible
