Solar lit 200 step trail to a peaceful yurt camping experience, just minutes from New Paltz. The Yurt has a full size memory foam bed. Bed linens, towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. You have your own private fire pit, wood provided at no extra cost for ultimate relaxation!! This is an off grid camping experience with a composting toilet (amazingly oderless), foot pump sink, shower has been upgraded with a new on demand hot water heater Just bring, ice, food, drinks and bug spray! A peaceful wooded camping experience with a clearing for the yurt, outside camp kitchen, screened dining area, screen lounging/reading area with super comfy chairs, there is a hammock and an amazingly odorless outhouse!! Further back is an other cleared area with a fire pit and adirondack chairs and an other screen room with a couch!! Guests have private access by a 200 step trail to a large wooded area with clearings for the living area, yurt, 'kitchen area', table with 2 chairs and outhouse w on demand hot water for the shower! There are 2 domed screen rooms for lounging A separate cleared area with a fire pit/grill with adirondak chairs, a wooden bench, and unlimited firewood. No hidden extra costs. Free parking and a solar lit trail leads you to your cozy yurt! Easily accessible and just minutes is the lively college town which has a large variety of eateries and activities. The area has endless spectacular hiking trails, orchards/breweries with weekend entertainment, lakes, and a river to swim/fish/kayak in!! We love living here and enjoy gardening, kayaking and hiking as well as relaxing around a fire or lazing in a hammock! Please be aware that the wooded country setting does include insects, critters, poison ivy ( cleared as much as possible around areas of use) and sounds from an area shooting range(during the day only). We have multiple screen rooms and spray each week with an organic spray. The crowing rooster is no longer with us
