The Cottage, at Journey Inn, an eco-retreat, is a cozy vacation rental home nestled in a beautiful secluded coulee (small valley), just three miles from Lake Pepin (the Mississippi River). We are also pet friendly! Children 10+welcome The space The Cottage provides an open floor plan with ample seating in the living room and kitchen. A large dining table allows for great meals and fun game times or a big puzzle for a rainy day. The two bedrooms each have a king size bed and one of the rooms has a desk if you have some work to do~ The full bath has everything you need and the large bathroom through the french doors houses a whirlpool tub to relax in after a day of adventure. Guest access The Cottage guests have the entire main level of the Cottage to themselves. The lower level of the Cottage is the spa, sauna and gift shop but allows no access to the main Cottage. The Cottage guests also enjoy their own deck, paver set patio area with their own grill and seating area. Other things to note There is a shared campfire area, 1.5 miles of groomed trials to walk on our land, a medium to difficult hike across the road on the Morgan Coulee, a shared sauna, a gift shop, a library, a few spa services, many yard games to use, bikes, snow shoes, trekking poles, and an abundance of wildlife to admire!
