Luna’s Lake Hideaway-Tiny Cabin/Campground

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis in Balaton Beach. Just a 1.5 hr drive from Winnipeg. Surrounded with a variety of beautiful tall trees, is our cozy little 1 room cabin. Luna’s Lake Hideaway is just a short 5 min walk around the corner to the beautiful shores of Lake Winnipeg. You are a 25 min drive along the lake to the beach town of Gimli. As well, a 10 minute drive to Arnes Farmers Market and 5 mins from Riverton, groceries, gas and take out! The space Luna’s Lake Hideaway is a small 1 room 10x12, 4 SEASON cabin with electricity. You will no doubt be welcomed by our cute black Terrier Luna. She is a friendly young, fixed female, up to date on all her shots! Our property is pet friendly to your pet as well, but of course, clean up behind them and please bring them a bed to sleep in! Limit 1 pet! There is plenty of space in the lot to pitch a tent or two or even a trailer, There is also a 30 amp RV power outlet available for an additional fee. We have a cute clean outhouse, tucked in the woods behind the cabin, freshly painted and smelling outdoorsy! Our outdoor wash station gives you a large metal tub and running water to do your dishes in. This well water is also good for drinking. We have recently added a beautiful outdoor shower, with hot water, tucked into the woods for the ultimate outdoor shower experience, guaranteed to be a great experience! There is no running water in the winter season. We supply you with a jug of water in the cabin during winter. There is an axe and free firewood to enjoy as many bonfires as you like, along with roasting sticks. I supply you with hot chocolate, tea & coffee and 1 complementary s’more kit for 2, because we believe in treats around the fire! Inside the cabin you will find a hot plate that can also be used outdoors, microwave, 2 pots and 1 pan, (aside from making coffee, boiling water, or using the microwave, I ask that you cook outdoors). Utensils and a mini fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee perk & coffee, dishes & cutlery for two, kitchen towels, paper towels, dish cloths, dish soap, salt & pepper. Can opener, wine bottle opener Clean bedding is supplied by us, bring your own towels. We also have a bbq & utensils. We offer the use of our 2 bicycles, (older mountain bikes) if you’re tired of walking! We have added horse shoe pits and an axe throwing game for you to enjoy! We are located just steps away from the beach, where you can throw in your rod and attempt to catch dinner, walk the shores or find a sandy spot for a swim ( I recommend water shoes) and a picnic. Also a great location for ice fishing!! There is also a boat dock and a nice beach in Hnasua just a 5 min drive away. Guest access You will have the entire lot to yourself.
