In the surrounding area, numerous excursion options await your visit: the Prora Documentation Center, the Prora Center, the Rügen Vintage Car Museum, the Rügen NVA Museum, the Rügen Galileo Science Center, the Binz-Prora Climbing Forest and the Rügen Natural Heritage Center with the treetop path as well as the popular Karls Adventure Village in Zirkow. Within walking distance there are two bakeries, some bistros as well as a restaurant, small fashion and souvenir shops as well as a bicycle rental shop. A sailing school is about 3 km away.
