The Granary

Situated in the country side, with no one around, the gorgeous Hardwick View Lodge. A lovely intimate space with the sounds of nature all around. You can go on many different walks, to close by places such as Hardwick Hall and Stainsby Mill. This is a perfect place for walkers or a couple wanting a romantic treat away, with a hot tub to relax in too. Our hot tub is open all year round at no extra cost, a lovely place to star gaze at night or relax in after a busy day! 2 people only, no children The space This is a re-purposed extended summerhouse. It’s made from wood and has characteristics that wood give. It is not painted and in times of harsh weather looks distressed and old, in the summer it’s charming. It is cleaned meticulously but will always look used, the wood will always be water stained. If these characteristics suit you then you will enjoy every minute, if you like new build, plastic coating and newly plastered walls it will not be your thing. We love it as do 99% of people who visit. Just be sure it’s what appeals to you. Thank you Guest access Private drive with dedicated parking. The lodge has its own access and its own private gated garden, albeit relatively small garden. You can use our lawn to play football or anything else if you wish. The lodge garden is private and for your use only, the hot tub area is secluded with amazing views out. No one overlooks the hot tub area or lodge garden. Other things to note We are secluded, private and in the countryside. Other than walking or cycling most things are a short drive away. We are here to help and are very friendly and accommodating, don’t be afraid to ask for any help at all. We don’t bite :) please enjoy your stay with us.
