When you enter the carport, the front door is directly in front of you, and there is a motion sensitive light. Open the door using the keypad, and you will step into an entrance way, with living area on your right, and hallway to the bedrooms and bathrooms directly in front of you, with a coffee nook to front left. The living room is outfitted with comfortable couches and chairs, WiFi, and a TV that streams WiFi. There are LOTS of free channels, and you can also use your own subscriptions if you wish. The galley kitchen is fully equipped with appliances (refrigerator with water and ice, stove/oven, microwave oven and dishwasher), and stocked with eating and cooking utensils, pots and pans and plates. Also, toaster, coffee maker, and blender are available for your use. You will also find a number of dry goods and pantry items for your use, as well as soaps. Looking through the kitchen, you can see out a sliding door to the patio, and a broad mountain view! In this room is the dining table, next to a large picture window, so you and your group can view the mountains while dining, playing board games, or you can even get some work done! The washer and dryer are behind doors off this same room, with detergent provided. A small closet beside the W/D closet holds the cushions for the outdoor furniture, which includes couch and chairs, a dining table and chairs, under an umbrella. Patio heater also for chilly nights. Although our beautiful sunlight will warm you all year! Down the hallway, you will find bedroom 2 on the left, with a queen sized bed, full wall length reach in closet, with chest of drawers inside. Bedside tables with lamps, and wall mounted TV with remote, and a light and fan in ceiling complete this comfortable bedroom. Across the hallway is bathroom 2. New remodeled with tiled, step-in shower with shower tower and a seat, and decorator designed sink with raised bowl. At the end of the hallway, you will find bedroom 1, with ensuite bathroom. Generously sized, with beautiful view of the mountains just outside your window. Full wall-length reach in closet, a chest of drawers, and bedside tables give you plenty of room for storage. This bathroom is also a brand new remodel with tiled, walk-in shower with shower tower and bench seating, and the decorator sink with raised bowl. Through the sliding doors, you can enter the earlier described dining area, with access to the patio. The patio is fully fenced, and has comfortable seating, and a 4 seater table for outside eating, and watching the mountains! It also has a brand new gas grill and propane heater. Please be kind and refill if you use all of the propane. A small gate leads to groomed walking/hiking trails. Just turn to the left when you exit the gate, and keep your eyes open for the stone lined walkways! You are welcome to let your pets out onto the patio, just please clean up behind them, and do not leave them un-supervised. Please remember, this is the desert, and the native animals might just consider your pet a tasty snack. This property is part of the Green Valley Recreational Centers association. If you stay with us for more than 2 weeks, you are eligible for a complimentary pass for up to 2 people. You can also buy a pass for the duration of your (shorter) stay, or for extra booked guests. Just let me know. I have to provide you the forms. Green Valley Rec has 16 separate facilities, all with pools and gyms, including saunas and spas, including one indoor pool! Each center also has numerous clubs and classes. The closest center, Desert Hills, is only 0.4 miles away! You will have access to the entire townhouse, including patio and carport. The outside closet is locked for owner use. We use self check-in with a touchpad to unlock the front door. I am available at all times through Airbnb, text or phone, and have additional local contacts if needed. Desert Hills II is a 55+ community that both gazes out at the Santa Rita Mountains, and is just across the street from the Desert Hills Center of Green Valley Recreation, Inc. This home is just 0.4 miles from the Desert Hills Center! There are many dedicated and well cared for walking trails right out your back door. Desert Hills II also has the most beautiful curated Arid Garden, where you can view and learn about desert plants in a park setting. Green Valley is rather car dependant. The Desert Hills Recreation Center is only 0.4 miles away from our home, and there are walking trails right out the back door. There is a shuttle to Tuscon available You will park in a single carport right at the front door. There is room for a second car in the driveway behind the carport. No parking is allowed on the street. Desert Hills is a 55+ community. You pet may be walked on the hiking trails immediately out the patio gate, or they are free to use the back yard/patio. Either way, please remember to clean up after your pet. Doggie bags are provided. Please do not leave your pets unattended on the patio, and pay attention when walking. Many of our desert animals and plants are not pet friendly. Leashes are best. PET FEE OF $50 is per stay, per pet. Outside gas grill, the heating tower, and the fire pit come with gas bottles filled. If you run out, please be kind and refill. If you will send me a picture of the receipt, I will refund you the expense through Airbnb.
