Rust Cottage -Quirky with a whole lot of comfort

Our aim - offer what "we love "in bed & breakfast-a little quirky, cozy comfort, quality, special touches, a lovely outlook. A home that embraces as you walk through the door. We want our guests to feel welcome & appreciated! Positioned approx 6 minutes by car between the buzzing town of Cygnet or the old world charm of Woodbridge, 45 minutes to Hobart & so much that is wonderful in between. We are a perfect base from which to set off & explore everything the Huon Valley has to offer. The space The open plan includes a full size, well equipped kitchen, comfortable loungeroom which opens to a delightful little sunroom that looks out through old rippled glass to the much loved garden. Doors from an old Hobart pub form a wardrobe, a shelf made from an old gun box, recycled timber on walls & benches even a curved window sill (probably an old factory mould) Reverse cycle air in the loungeroom & a heater in the bathroom further ensure your comfort. A Separate bedroom area with vintage doors as a bed head, a soft comfy mattress to entice sleep, a freshly renovated bathroom with big soft towels, hooks, recycled art on the wall & even a separate laundry. Every window has a view of gardens & mountains & the large garden is yours to roam, sit, read or lay on the grass. The private verandah takes in another aspect of the garden & overlooks your own fire pit & BBQ. I follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts. Guest access Guests can enjoy their own private street entrance & ample parking. The verandah & front door face over a garden so you feel you are miles from anyone. We are not too far away if you need us but you wont know we are there if you prefer. Other things to note Breakfast supplies come via our chooks & garden or include local produce when in season. Two TVs are provided both offering free to air & Netflix for the nights you just want to chill. Some phone services can be limited inside the cottage but usually fine on the verandah .WIFI available.
