Description

Sun-filled, tree-lined private 2 bdr Cottage in Inverleigh surrounded by a 1 acre garden. The space Inverleigh Cottage is set on an acreage property in the historic town of Inverleigh (Est 1854). It is a private self-contained Cottage surrounded by nature within a secure private ~1 acre fenceline, filled with autumn deciduous, Australian natives and olive trees. Within 3 kms to the historic Inverleigh Hotel, walks along the Leigh and Barwon rivers, Inverleigh country bakehouse, Sonny Wholefood café & store, playground, the Inverleigh flora and fauna reserve and Inverleigh Golf club. Torquay, Ocean Grove and Mount Duneed are only 30-40 mins drive away. Guest access Access into the private Cottage is via a long driveway, past a farm gate and through a key safe at the door (with the pin provided on the morning of arrival). During your stay, you can walk freely within the ~1 acre fenceline, filled with autumn deciduous, Australian natives and olive trees. We live on the property and just a phone call (and ~100m) away if you need to contact us during your visit. Ample parking adjacent to the Cottage. Other things to note If you think you hear a frog, donkey, goose or a flock of birds- you are correct. No additional guests on the property, please. Guests with small children can stay using existing bedding. Additional primary school aged kids may be accommodated on request. We are in a semi-rural area, but our neighbours are still relatively close. Please enjoy yourself and turn all noise down after 9pm. We are on a septic tank, so please no “foreign” objects - bags and bins are provided. Minimum stay is two on some days. Pets may be considered, but note: 1) Pets need to be under control at all times. Pets are not to be left unattended. The property is fenced, but there are some sections with basic fencing. 2) You need to BYO bedding that the pet will interact with and clean up after them. Pets are not allowed on any furniture. 3) An additional up to $50 cleaning fee will be charged, and possibly a full dry-cleaning fee.
