Lakefront Cabin with Beach

Unfortunately, due to the Township of Minden’s new Short Term Rental bylaw (Oct 2024), we can no longer host stays shorter than 28 days. Sorry to guests who were hoping to return in 2025 :( Relax around the shallow, soft sandy beach and dock. Spend the day exploring the lake on paddleboard, and then stargaze at night. Easy road access right off the highway, and conveniently located 3 minutes away from Kawartha Dairy and 5 minutes to the town of Minden for groceries or restaurants. The space The cabin is situated right by the beach- your view from the living room window faces straight down the iconic 100ft dock. There are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. The kitchen is equipped with a full fridge/freezer, gas stove, sink, appliances (coffee maker, toaster, microwave) and all essential cookware for your stay. Tap water is safe to drink and cook with. There is a propane barbecue on the deck for grilling. The cabin is equipped with a half bathroom. There is a semi-enclosed hot shower located outdoors (think pool/beach style shower). We provide lake-safe biodegradable shampoo and soap for you to use. In the shed by the cabin you will find a variety of water crafts, pool floaties, lawn games, and life jackets. They are all there for you to enjoy. Firewood is provided for as long as we have some to share. Guest access Guests have private access to the cabin. The beach, dock, and fire pit are shared with the owners whose primary residence is on the same property. You can park your car right by the cabin.
