The Friland Chamomilla cottage overlooks a vast, sunlit panorama that stretches from the Julian Alps to the Friulian Plain and, on the clearest days, to the sea and Slovenia. In spring, the woods awaken, adorned with new buds, the air becomes mild, and the landscape comes alive with shades of green. The longer, milder days invite you to slow down, alternating between pleasant, rejuvenating walks along the blossoming ridges and moments of tranquility, watching the world come alive again from above. The space Friland is the perfect opportunity to take a break from the routine and reconnect with nature, immersed in spectacular scenery. It is a tiny mobile and completely self-sufficient (off-grid) house, equipped with all the essential services for a comfortable stay. In just 12 square meters you will find everything you need: double bed, equipped kitchen, shower, toilet (not chemical) and heating. The space is simple but cozy, designed to offer intimacy, well-being, and silence. The large panoramic windows allow a total immersion in the surrounding landscape. The autonomy of the house is limited but designed for responsible and moderate use of water (for sanitary use) and electricity, guaranteed by an integrated water collection and management system and solar panels. The tiny house is thoroughly cleaned before each stay. Guest access PLEASE NOTE: The guest will be able to park about a kilometer away from the accommodation. To reach the accommodation there is a path of 900 meters, so we recommend light luggage and suitable shoes. The exact location will be provided 48 hours before check-in. Nature is by definition spontaneous and unspoiled, and that's precisely what makes it magical. During your stay, you could experience real mountain and country life up close. This may include the possibility of encountering grazing cows, flocks of sheep in transit with their shepherds, or hikers and scouts who share a love for these trails. Sometimes you might hear or see the Forestry Department or local staff busy taking care of the forest and mowing the grass: their work is invaluable in keeping these places safe and beautiful. We encourage you to enjoy these moments with respect and curiosity, remembering that we are guests in a living land. The beauty of nature also lies in its continuous evolution. Atmospheric events (such as the sun, a rainbow, or rain) are an integral part of the natural environment and the experience you will have. As a result, the access trails or dirt roads may sometimes have gaps, branches, leaves, or mud.
