The Bend Country House

The Bend Country House is a unique, charming, elegant retreat of a by-gone era. A special experience, ideal for large groups, conferences or family reunions. Situated 12kms outside Nottingham Road on the Loteni Road and a further 4km along a gravel road. It is one of 22 established, free-standing homes on a 600-hectare Trout and Nature Estate offering fresh air, scenic walks, trout fishing, mountain biking and relaxing during winter or summer. Paddle courts have been added and back up power! Full DSTV is available The Manor House (main house) consists of 8 bedrooms, able to accommodate 16 adults and 4 children 5 x Queen Bedrooms 2 x Twin Bedrooms 1 x Double Bedroom (loft room) The adjacent wing consists of a further 8 spacious, beautifully appointed bedrooms. 8 x Queen Bedrooms - all en-suite the Bend's large riverside property is also home to 3 self-contained cottages: River Cottage 3 Bedroom, sleeps 6 Stone Cottage 3 Bedroom, sleeps 6 Meadow Cottage 2 Bedroom, sleeps 4 Other things to note *****Recent Installation*** Just installed 2 10Kw Inverters Which now offers a proper power backup in that all lights and plug points are now kept running during load shedding in the main house and the annex rooms. For now this excludes the cottages. We have also installed 2 30L gas geysers in the main house and 1 30L in the Annex so that all the rooms will now have hot water on tap and readily available.
