Remarkable Lake House sleeps 7-3 baths

The lake house is located in the center of Greensboro, just 5 min. from the best restaurants, shopping, parks and event centers in town, including Greensboro’s premiere Friendly Shopping Center. Wesley Long Cone Hospital is a 5-7 min. drive. It’s 35 min. from High Point's Furniture Market and 10 min. from GSO Airport. The Aquatic Center, Natural Science Center and many local colleges including UNCG, Guilford College, A&T are close. Even Elon, High Point Univ. and Wake Forest are 30 min. away! The space The Luisana Lake house is sparsely furnished with eclectic antiques spanning many different time periods and original art. An open floor-plan, mega wide screen tv and luxurious bedding and towels add to the pampering. The main entrance on the lake, patio side is over 4' wide with double glass doors for easy wheel chair access. The kitchen, dining and living room spaces are also easily joined with extra wide walk ways. Every space has a beautiful view of the outside -Feng Shui rules here! Karen is an antique show producer and an Interior Designer and has created a space that touches all the senses. Our current guest just insisted that we add how quiet it is inside. You cannot hear cars or trucks nearby and the sound insulation between rooms is also remarkable. Relax, Renew, Enjoy. Guest access We’ve cleared a spot along the shore to fish a little looking down the hill to the far right hand side. The staircase on the left hand side belongs to our neighbor and it should not be used. Most of the shoreline is treed, so the view is more important than actual lake access. Walking down to the lake is also on a steep hill which can be treacherous for some. We have a large driveway that can accommodate 3 vehicles overnight ( per short term rental rules in Greensboro). There are also two parks within walking distance of the house, one complete with swings and slides for the little ones. Other things to note This house brings us back to our childhoods. Horseshoes are always set up in the back yard . A chess table is always available by the kitchen for a challenging game. Everywhere you roam, the outside is brought in. Part of the family here are deer, hawks, owls, squirrels, chipmunks and foxes to name just a few. Enjoy the grill and the fire pit when outside. Course, being on the water brings a calming feeling like nothing else can!
