The space This lower level duplex unit has an off-street parking space that can fit mid-sized vehicles if they are stacked front to back. There is also plenty of street parking out front. The house was built in 1889 and retains many of its original features like the unique green exterior, beautiful hardwood floors and sunny rear entrance, but has some great modern touches like the fully renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and nicely tiled bathroom space. There is a large bedroom with a huge king-sized bed and a smaller bedroom in back with a queen sized bed. If you need to sleep additional people, the front couch folds out into a futon mattress and we have a travel crib for young children. The kitchen was recently remodeled with concrete countertops, tile flooring and stainless steel appliances which makes for a great cooking and gathering space. The unit features a built-in washer and dryer for your use, no need to go to a laundromat for your extended stay with us. This unit is very pet friendly with a private, fenced-in backyard available for the exclusive use of the main floor guests. Note: This is a duplex building with two completely separate living areas. The main entrance is shared, but all other spaces are private. The building is like a small condo or apartment building with two separate condos. Each unit has it's own unique security locks and pin codes. This lower level unit does have a private parking space and back entrance off the rear wooden deck as well. Guest access You can park in back on the driveway and enter off the back deck, or you can park in front on the street and enter through the main shared entrance space. Other things to note We specialize in monthly furnished rentals for people in transition. Our home is conveniently located in a safe and walkable neighborhood that is great for families and couples, especially those with pets! We have had many guests stay with us for job transitions, insurance claim stays and construction projects. We pride ourselves in being responsive, flexible and accommodating to guests.
