Cosy restored hillside farmstead

In a quiet and secluded location, Caradon Cottage is a beautifully restored farm building that provides cosy, comfortable 1-bed accommodation to get away from it all. Stunning views across SE Cornwall and access to 5 acres of fields gives you freedom within your own holiday home domain. Pubs, shops and tearooms plus the wild expanses of Bodmin Moor can all be accessed by simply walking from your door. Light the log burner, pour a glass and let the hassles of everyday life slip away. The space Caradon Cottage is a restored barn & stable attached to a house where the owners live. It has granite walls almost a metre thick, with wide slate window sills and preserved features. With beautiful views, there is underfloor heating throughout and the added bonus of a wood burning stove in the living/dining room. Restoration was completed in June 2023, so everything is fresh, new and we hope to high standards for your comfortable stay. There are a few steps to and also inside the property, so unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users. Guest access As well as enjoying your holiday home, you are free to wander across the 5 acres of fields and other areas of the property. The views are stunning from the top field, all the way across South East Cornwall to distant sea views. There is loads of parking outside the cottage (even though you'll probably only have one car!) and a personal patio space with chairs to kick back and relax. Other things to note We have two friendly cats, please be aware of them when driving in and out.
