SōLSTAY is located only a 1/2 mile from Cedar Point and only minutes from some of the best attractions Sandusky has to offer! With views of breathtaking sunrises, a private community hot tub, outdoor grilling areas, and much more, this experience will be everything you are looking for! The space This cozy house boat offers a queen bed, a large sliding glass door out the front, and 2 chairs for seating inside or for use on the front deck area. Guests have a short walk to our shared restroom facilities. These floating retreats do not have air conditioning, but instead invite you to embrace cool lake breezes, open windows, and the gentle sway of the water. Perfect for those seeking a rustic, screen-free escape, our non-A/C houseboats provide a unique way to slow down, stargaze from your deck, and wake up to the sound of lapping waves. Our property is located directly on Castaway Bay, just minutes from Cedar Point, Sports Force Park, and Downtown Sandusky. Guest access Guests will have access to their private house boat along with access to all of the amenities our property has to offer, including our private hot tub, outdoor dining spaces, outdoor gas fire pits & grills, convenience store and co-working space, little free library, mini golf, ping-pong, sauna (with reservation), kayaks and paddle boards (with rental fee), high quality restroom and shower facility with individual private locks and much more! The hot tub is open year round. The floating sauna & mini golf are seasonal: available April - October. Please note that our amenities are shared among all guests on the property. We ask that everyone is respectful of the amenities themselves and the guests around them. Other things to note *PORTABLE HEATERS OF ANY KIND ARE PROHIBITED* Please reach out for extra blankets if you would like some. The solar batteries cannot support a battery powered portable heater and propane heaters are a huge fire hazard. Our tiny house boats are solar-powered and can charge small fans. You are welcome to bring additional fans, but we ask that you do not bring portable AC’s. Please note that the restrooms are not in the unit. There is a high end restroom trailer with individual locking restrooms that have a toilet, shower and sink. These restrooms are shared with other guests on the property. Please note, although your unit is private, this is a marina with multiple guests and boaters all sharing the other amenities of the property much like a micro glamping retreat/resort. The hot tub is not shared with the public, but is shared among other guests on the property. Please keep in mind, Lake Erie welcomes mayflies, spiders and other insects in the warmer months. This is something that we can not control, but will always take steps to prevent best we can.
