Quaint condo - City of Bridges
Quaint lower-level condominium walking distance to downtown and to Valley City State University. Comfortable and quiet with access to coin laundry. Use of garage upon request. Updated amenities with new beds. Guests expected to follow quiet hours (10pm to 8am). High speed wifi and cable television. Work station for busy executives. Valley City, the city of bridges, is a friendly community population 7500 in a scenic river valley of the Sheyenne. Two bedrooms--one with a queen-sized bed and one with a twin. There's a coach in the living room. The kitchen is fully functional (although the handle on the microwave is scheduled for repair). The condo is generally cool or warm, naturally, due to being on the lower-level. The air conditioner does a fair job of keeping the living room comfortable in the summer months. An air conditioning upgrade is planned. The back door has a keyless entry, and the code will be provided upon booking. A caretaker is available upon request and a number will be provided. Guest will follow a simple self-checkin protocol. Guests can find the following within walking distance: downtown (with restaurants, coffee shops, and boutique shops) and Valley City State University. Dairy Queen is a long walk or short drive up 5th Ave NW. The condominium neighbors can seem standoffish at first, but they are friendly and well-meaning. On-street parking is allowed. Garage parking is available upon request. The community is observant of peace and quiet. Please follow this general guideline. Sometimes the neighbors--an elderly couple and a disabled adult--can be a bit cantankerous, but any concerns communicated by guests have been addressed swiftly. A kill-them-with-kindness strategy has worked wonders.
