Hike the cabin's 40 acres that connect to state trails, or grill around the fire pit. A short drive to the towns of Woodstock, Phoenicia, and the area's ski resorts. The space Built in 1900, this home features a unique craftsmanship in every room. There are views into the forest from the custom windows, a chef's kitchen, excellent library, vinyl records and two woodstoves. Birdwatch while taking a bath, light up the grill at the pagoda, sit outside under the stars beside the fire pit, or listen to the creek from the master bedroom. Guests who love rural settings, including wildlife and making fires in the modern Danish woodstove, will feel at home here. We welcome children and can provide a bassinet, pack n' play, and baby gates for the stairs and wood stove. In winter, guests should use a 4WD or AWD vehicle to navigate the driveway to the house and be comfortable using the woodstove as the main heating source.
