The Cozy Artist Loft is an elegant open concept loft with a designer interior, beautiful furnishings, cozy fireplace, 10 ft ceilings, fully outfitted chef's kitchen, huge windows, and spacious bathroom. With the beach just 1 mile away, it's only a 15 minute walk or 5 minute ride on the cruiser bikes we provide to get you to the lakeshore or around town! Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and breweries all within walking distance from the apartment. Perfect for a relaxing getaway! The main living area of the loft features an inviting gathering space with 2 leather sofas and chairs surrounding the fireplace and TV, with the main dining table adjacent. The primary queen bedroom is off the living room and is outfitted with the loft's famous "Laboratory" door. Beyond this space you'll find the second living area featuring a Murphy bed, smaller TV, bookcase, and work table. This is open to the kitchen, which features the full range of standard appliances (including dishwasher and extensive cooking tools) along with an additional dining table. The washer and dryer are hidden behind cabinets in this area. The main hallway gives access to the bathroom and clothing storage as well as bikes. Everything is elegantly designed to compliment the building's industrial-era charm! Enjoy appetizers on us at Farinas Cafe with any stay more than 2 days. Guests have a private entrance to access their apartment only. I generally do not meet guests in person, although if needed I can. Check-in and check-out are contactless. If any needs arise during your stay, either I or one of my crew members will be there to help. The Lab Loft is a vintage gem in the heart of downtown Michigan City's Uptown Arts District, just 1 mile from the shores of Lake Michigan. The area is a burgeoning semi-urban community with restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and breweries located within walking distance from the apartment. Additionally, you'll find Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets just 4 blocks away. If you're looking for nature, look no further than the Indiana Dunes National Park, whose points of interest begin just a 5 minute drive down the road. You're also just a 15-minute drive from Harbor Country, Michigan, where you can find countless wineries and microbreweries. Ample free street parking. Neighborhood is walkable with shopping, eating, and beach all close together.
