Charming, completely remodeled 4 bedroom (5 beds), 2 bath “farmhouse” with lovely enclosed wrap around porch in the heart of the historic Delano district and minutes from Old Town. Walking distance to restaurants and the new Riverfront Stadium; and only a short drive to Friends University & Intrust Arena. This home features a fenced back yard, private parking, and cozy accommodations including a sectional sofa, 50" TV and fully equipped kitchen. You will have the entire 1750 square ft. spotlessly clean, smoke and pet free home. The home has 5 total beds within 4 bedrooms. Two beds (a king size and a full size) are located in the master suite on the main floor, with the other three bedrooms upstairs (so if stairs are a problem for your group, please don't book). The master suite features luxury linens and towels as well as a Roku television. The master bath is completely new, features a bathtub/shower and includes a full size washer and dryer (detergent provided). The second, newly renovated bathroom is located on the main floor as well. So, again, if traveling down the stairs to the restroom are a problem, keep this in mind before booking, as the other bedrooms are upstairs. They contain two queen size beds and one full size bed. There is also an air mattress for large groups. The kitchen features new appliances and is fully stocked with dishware, Keurig coffee maker (coffee included) and snacks. Outdoors you will have full use of a fenced backyard and BBQ grill. The home has a long private driveway for off-street parking. We do not allow parties in the home. Security cameras monitor the entrances, so please be honest about the number of guests staying in the home. Entire home and the fenced backyard will be yours! You will check yourself in using a coded deadbolt lock, but we are available 24/7 if you have questions or problems. The exterior of the home does have security cameras for safety purposes. The historical Delano district is in the heart of Wichita and a sought after location for its shopping and eateries. It is also home to the new multi-million dollar sports venue which is within walking distance to the home. Other attractions within 1.5 miles are Intrust Bank Arena, Old Town, Exploration Place, Botanica Gardens, Friends & Newman Universities, the Orpheum Theater, Old Cowtown Museum, the Keeper of the Plains, and Century II. Via Christi Hospital is 2.5 miles and the Dwight D Eisenhower Airport is within 5 miles. It is just a 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, but Wichita is a very drive-able city with free parking at most destinations. Although we don't allow smoking in the home, you may smoke on the screened porch. There is an elementary school across the street, so available street parking declines during school hours.
