Private 1 bedroom apartment w/1 queen bed and a private entrance on a working animal sanctuary including a bathroom, eat in kitchen, work space, living room with 3 sofas & private washer/dryer. Surrounded by trees in Calvert County, your stay will be peaceful. You can interact with the critters or observe from afar. We currently have; geese, ducks, chickens, turkeys, a pig, parrots, emus, cats. Please note, if you have any mobility issues this may not be a good choice for your stay. The space It is a large, completly private apartment with a private bath & bedroom featuring a queen bed. Located within a 15 minute drive of local parks, boardwalks, hiking trails, restaurants and shopping, including the Chesapeake Beach Water park and the North Beach Farmers Market. Prince Frederick is just 10 minutes down the road and offers a movie theater, lots of shopping and restaurants. About 30 minutes from Cove Point. Just 50 minutes from Washington DC, PAX River, Annapolis or Andrews AFB. Close to Calvert Memorial Hospital & 10 minutes from Rod & Reel Resort & Chesapeake Beach resort & spa. The entire property is NO SMOKING. Guest access You enter through your own private entrance. Also any persons other than the ones directly attached to your booking will not be allowed entry to the accommodations. If you anticipate other guests you must add them to the booking PRIOR to your arrival. Other things to note House is located in a very private setting with off road parking. PLEASE note that the entire property is a NO SMOKING zone. For safety reasons, The sanctuary does not allow children or pets on the property. Also any persons other than the ones directly attached to your booking will not be allowed entry to the accommodations. If you anticipate other guests you must add them to the booking PRIOR to your arrival. While the listing accommodates 3 people easily please note that there is 1 queen bed and 2 sofas. The sofas do NOT open into beds however they can be slept on. Quiet time is 10:30pm to 10:30am.
