The location of The Cottage, sitting at the head of the loch in a secluded garden area within Lochgoilhead village, makes this a truly special setting. Steps away from The Goil Inn as well as a short walk on the path round the head of the loch to reach the dining, entertainment and leisure facilities at the Drimsynie Estate. The space Although it is called "The Cottage", you will see from the picture gallery that it is in fact an impressive detached villa sitting within mature gardens, complete with its own driveway. To the front of the garden and over the hedge is an area called the village green which has a footpath linking the village to the other side of the loch via a footbridge. The gardens around the property have various secluded areas to enjoy the peaceful setting. On the ground floor there are three large public rooms: a lounge with a wood-burning stove, grand dining room with views of the loch plus a well equipped games room. All look towards the loch. The kitchen is a superb size and has a range of units, integral appliances and range style cooker. There is access to a good size larder and rear porch leading to the courtyard area of the garden. There is also a beautiful bathroom and WC. Upstairs there are four good sized bedrooms plus a large shower room. THE HOT TUB - Located in the converted garage area adjoining the house, the 6-seater hot tub benefits from being in an all weather covered area at the same time as making the most of the loch view. The hot tub is drained, cleaned and re-filled between each party. The chemicals are checked during your stay to maintain the safest levels.
