"The Nest" – Panisseau Castle

Perched in the heart of the courtyard of the Château de Panisseau, this cosy and nicely decorated accommodation awaits you for a peaceful stay. The space Le Nid is a self-catering accommodation with a wooden terrace on stilts. The accommodation is very well equipped and the bedroom has a king size bed 180x200. On your arrival, the bed is made up and the bathroom and swimming pool towels are at your disposal. Access to the garden and the swimming pool. Visits and wine tasting possible on the estate. Guest access We are located in Thenac (24240), about 17 km south of Bergerac and 19 km from Bergerac airport. 5 km from Sigoulés (bakery, carrefour market, post office, bar, restaurant) and 14 km from Eymet. We are just 3 km from the Village des Pruniers - an internationally renowned Buddhist site. The Périgord is one of the most beautiful regions of France, with its splendid rolling countryside, typical architecture, 1001 châteaux and medieval villages rich in history. Children can enjoy canoeing on the Dordogne, visiting prehistoric caves such as Lascaux or the Proumeyssac chasm, visiting the Bergerac Aquarium (Creysse), horse-riding, cycling, etc. For the more adventurous, there's go-karting and ballooning over the Dordogne Valley, and for golf enthusiasts there's the magnificent Les Vigiers golf course just 10 minutes from our Château. And of course there's gastronomy and tasting of Bergerac wines, including our own vineyard, Château de Panisseau. Other things to note We insist that everyone respects the peace and harmony of the site. For our part, we are always available for everyone's comfort.
