Located on Main Street in the heart of historic Old Bisbee and equipped with such modern comforts as copper-infused linens, memory foam mattresses, and fresh ground local coffee from Old Bisbee Roasters, your room is the ideal home base for exploring all that our town has to offer (be sure to check out our guidebook for our favorite spots to check out during your stay). Our pillowcases are made with Copper, the metal that was mined for decades in this town. Copper has many properties, it is antiviral/microbial, increases circulation, and soft on the hair and skin. Lonely Poet is our quiet, dark, corner room with a writer's desk. Scribble down your dreams and poetry late into the night underneath the Bisbee "B" which can be seen from the window. This room shares a bathroom and kitchenette with 2 other guests and is tucked away at the very end of the 2nd floor hallway. The walls are painted "caviar," a shade of black you can fall into and forget the outside world for a night or two. The old bed frame once had handcuffs attached, which adds a touch of the erotic to this quiet room for one. Guest access All guests enter the building through our Subway Street entrance. During business hours, you'll also have access to our "lounge", Object Hotel's storefront, Object Trading Post, on Main Street. This room 2E Lonely Poet is located at the end of the 2nd floor hallway. Other things to note Welcome to the Wild West. Bisbee encourages a certain amount of freedom that you won’t find elsewhere. Fireworks on a Tuesday? Sure, why not? In the building, though, we have a few rules out of respect to our guests and residents. Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 10 AM. Please be respectful of other guests, particularly when in the hallways. If another guest is not respecting quiet hours, please message us and we will contact them directly. We love when you share our spaces with friends, just please let us know if you plan to host a gathering of more than 2 people not included in your reservation. WE DO NOT ALLOW UNAUTHORIZED FILM/PHOTO SHOOTS. Private and commercial shoots are, however, permitted for a fee. Please be honest with us, if you try to use our property for a shoot without permission, we will ask you to leave without exception and we will not reimburse your reservation. Sorry, due to past damage issues no pets. Our building is over 100 years old, and while we’ve brought many modern conveniences into the space, you may not have all the comforts you're familiar with. Specifically, our building was constructed before the invention of air conditioners and heaters. That means it’s full of light, designed for natural heating/cooling via intelligent air-flow dynamics, and positioned to maximize the sunlight to heat in the winter and cool in the summer (we do, however, offer additional fans during the summer by request). Also, like most of Bisbee, there is no elevator or porter service to reach guest rooms on the second and third floor. No TVs, but plenty of books...and high-speed WiFi if an hour in Bisbee doesn't make you forget that modern technology exists ;) This is an adventure, remember? If you have any specific requests, we’ll do our best to satisfy them.
