A uniquely designed and styled jungle bungalow with a mezzanine bedroom, one bathroom and kitchen. It is inspired by the tiny house concept. Outside space includes private plunge pool & BBQ. Soak up the tranquility of nature whilst being just a 5 min walk to the Indian Ocean and some of Sri Lanka’s famed beaches and surf spots, including Kabalana beach. Our philosophy is simple: To provide a private and restful space while sharing our love of design and nature. Tucked in the corner of the property, with its own little garden patio and surrounding fauna, the tropical jungle bungalow provides the luxury of enjoying the outdoors in the comfort of the indoors. With a high ceiling and all glass front, you can expect lots of light and space. Our garden is a large landscaped property designed for you to enjoy being with nature. There is a plunge pool and outdoor seating areas for your use. Expect monkeys to visit you. Peacocks and all sorts of jungle birds come to hang out by the rice paddy throughout the day. The space has been specially curated to allow you to experience the beautiful nature of Sri Lanka. You have access to a plunge pool and all outdoor garden spaces. Our helpful staff can assist you with buying fresh fish and produce as well as cooking for the BBQ. A property manager is on hand and can easily be reached by call or message during your stay should you need anything. We can help arrange airport transfers and tuktuk or car hires to take you around when here. Surf lessons, tours and personal services (massage & private yoga lessons) can also be organised for you. Our property is only 300 metres away from Kabalana beach. A great swimmable and surfable beach is at the end of the road. There are countless surf spots (for beginners and more advanced levels) in a 5km radius. Cinnamon plantations are a stone throw away, not far away are the Koggala Lagoon and the historic Galle Fort for day visits. There are plenty of hip restaurants in the neighbourhood. We can help you with reservations here or elsewhere. The beach is a short walk away (4mins), we can help you arrange trusted Tuk Tuk drivers and vans and cars for hire. This is our only bungalow with a tv, using Chrome cast. You will be able to watch YouTube and Netflix. Please note this bungalow is not generator backed therefore will have no electricity during power cuts. We have a couple of dogs and cats living on the property. They are very friendly.
