Peaceful and centrally-located, this newly-built apartment attached to an early 1900s bungalow is in the heart of vibrant West Asheville. Within walking distance to amazing restaurants, bakeries, pubs, breweries, cideries, nightlife, and unique shopping experiences. Drive, walk, or bike to the French Broad River for water sports and the river arts district! Hike the Blue Ridge Mountains, just a short drive away. Time for a break? Come back to a quiet neighborhood to relax in your modern Airbnb. The space Amelia and Paul are your hosts and have lived in the house since 2002. Paul recently did a major remodel, adding the downstairs apartment with a private entrance. The apartment is a spacious, newly-built one bedroom with a firm queen mattress. There is a full sized bathroom (with a tub!), a large kitchenette, living room space, and breakfast nook. Lots of personal details make the space feel special. Paul did all the woodwork and the mugs and bowls are handcrafted by an Asheville potter. You have a semi-private patio and access to our large backyard. We have a sweet boxer-shepherd mix who loves people and is well trained. There is a guest parking area with room for one car, and there is street parking should you need it. Guest access The entire apartment is yours, with a semi-private patio and access to our backyard. Other things to note This space is ideal for a couple or a family with children. The bedroom has a queen bed and a crib or air-mattress can be set up in the spacious bedroom or in the main room. The bedroom has room darkening shades.
