Tower room "Rapunzel" (Schloßschänke Eysölden)

The 1000-year-old castle offers a special hostel in the Franconian Lake District. Nearby there are numerous leisure activities, such as Lake Rothsee (8 km) and the castle city of Nuremberg (40 km). Bicycles can be rented from the local dealer. The Altmühltal Nature Park starts right with us. The Pyraser brewery is just 2 km away. In Eysölden there is a traditional bakery, a gas station and good access to bus services. The castle is not only a place to stay, but a place where the feeling of a second home quickly arises. Our beautiful tower room "Rapunzel" is on the 2nd floor and is accessible via 2 stairs. The romantic tower room offers a living and sleeping room with about 66 m². The room is equipped with a double bed and a variety of seating that provides a living room atmosphere. A reading corner with a small library invites you to linger and pause. The antique easel table is suitable for creative work as well as for a cozy evening with wine/beer and snacks. A small separate tea & coffee kitchen, in the hallway, with a stove and a small oven provide an apartment feeling. The bathroom with bathtub and rain shower head, a hairdryer, toiletries, sufficient towels and hot water bottles are a matter of course for us. A "Google hop" with the Schloss Wi-Fi is also possible.
