Guest access The Getaway is comprised of five cottages, an 1839 farmhouse, and a historic barn, all sharing 6.5 acres of beautiful Vermont farmland. Guests have full, private access to their own cottage, including a private entrance, front porch, and back patio area. Parking for one vehicle per cottage is provided. The property is set back from the road, offering privacy and open green space while remaining close to everything Stowe has to offer. The road and driveway are completely flat and well-maintained year-round, so even in winter, an AWD or 4WD vehicle is not required. Other things to note Please note that our cottage offers a simple, comfortable, and homey experience, rather than the services or amenities of a hotel. It’s a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the charm of a cozy, self-contained space close to nature. While the cottage can technically accommodate up to four guests, it is a compact, studio-style space furnished with one queen bed and a queen-sized sofa bed. The sofa bed is best suited for children, and due to the limited space, the cottage is not recommended for more than two adults. The cottage also features a kitchen equipped with essential cookware, utensils, and dishes, suitable for preparing simple meals. However, for hygiene and safety reasons, consumable items such as coffee, sugar, spices, and cooking supplies are not provided. You’re welcome to bring your own or pick up whatever you need at the local supermarket conveniently located just half a mile away. Pets not allowed
