We've lowered the price a lot to reflect this The space Possum Cottage at Wilder is a rustic space. Travellers can expect a cosy little retreat at the bottom of Mount Roland. Phone reception is limited if you’re not with Telstra. There is wifi but it won't always work. If you need it please walk a few meters to the lodge where you'll be able to access it. Please note there are issues with the deck. We've roped off the affected areas. It's rural and we've had a couple of reviews leave 2 stars for the location . We can't do anything about that but if disconnecting and taking in the glorious mountain views sounds good then you'll love it. If you need a lot of stimulation and don't want rustic, it may not be for you. We do acknowledge that certain parts need work, we have plans to do a lot of that later this year and have dropped the price accordingly :) Other things to note Please note that there are no shops in the immediate vicinity so if you need groceries then the Sheffield IGA is open 7 days a week till 7pm If you’d like to eat out, Sheffield has an RSL, pub and Chinese restaurant The best way to find the cabin is to type “Wilder Tasmania, Gowrie Park” into maps.
