FIFA - Casa Colorado 3-bedroom casa in West Ajijic

Note: FIFA 2026 soccer games just 76 km away in Guadalajara June 11 to 26. Canadian managed. Spacious and quiet space in West Ajijic. Good for up to 3 couples on a snowbird/sunbird vacation. Or digital nomads, with a child or two and online work to do. We are on the bus line but a car is usual. The whole property is yours. You can walk to lakefront, 4 very good restaurants and a supermarket all within 500 meters, a 7 minute walk. We encourage guests for longer stays. Prices negotiable. The space A modern one-level house, with 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and ample patio space with propane grill. The kitchen is open to the living room and dining room with a solid parota table and 8 chairs. Eclectic art and furniture. A very Mexican “naranja” exterior, with white or cream interior walls. Air conditioning in two of the three bedrooms (to be used sparingly in the warmest months please). Gas fireplace (used sparingly in the coldest months please). One 55" TV. One of the bedrooms can be used as a dedicated work space with small desk, desk chair, and lamp. The pool (approximately 7.2 metres = 24 feet long) is un-heated and un-fenced, surrounded by an ample patio. The kitchen patio has several herbs in pots for your use. Airbnb has us automatically categorized as "tropical - hot and humid." We are at 1,700 m altitude (5,100') so we are definitely NOT humid; the weather is considered excellent most of the year. Guest access You have a main gate with remote control. The gardener will be there three days per week, the pool maintainer once or twice per week, and the cleaner once per week. They all have keys to the secondary gate. Other things to note This house is brand new as of November 2023. Located on the Carretera highway in the west of Ajijic Centro. It is a 36 minute walk from Ajijic Centro or an 8 minute drive, longer if there is traffic. There is secure parking for 4 cars, 2 of which are under a roof. There are security cameras at the house entrance and outside the gates to the streets, but nothing indoors or on the pool area. With a couple of weeks notice, we can make the house wheelchair-accessible (by adding one small ramp). The house is discretely nestled within its ample walled property, with views of gardens. The water is filtered and UV-treated, and is drinkable. As a bit of fun trivia, we are at the latitude of Hawaii, the altitude of Denver, and the longitude of Saskatoon.
