Remote, but ideally located, just 9 miles south of Ithaca and not far from Watkins Glen. Ithaca is Gorges, so be sure to experience the wonder of the waterfalls in the Finger Lakes Region, regardless of the season. Off the beaten track, this eco-friendly home is the place for a meaningful experience. If you crave wide open spaces and inspiring views, head for the great outdoors. Many magical meals have been had on this deck, usually followed by a soak in the hot tub, along with star-gazing and fireflies. We are pet-friendly, with a very large fenced in yard. (165' x 45') for playing. If outside the fence, pets must be leashed. Nature breaks are skyrocketing in popularity, and the gorges in the area are a great place for adventure and enjoying beauty. You'll be near the nature preserve at Vanbuskirk Gorge where you can enjoy the wildflowers, hiking and biking. In the fall, pick your own apples and get cider and donuts at Little Tree Orchards and be sure to check out Newfield's Historic Covered Bridge. Consider coming for the Grassroots Festival or the Ithaca Festival. Enjoy the Wine Trail, or head over to Greek Peak. The food in Ithaca is amazing! The fabulous Ithaca Farmer's Market, and the Ithaca Commons offer a unique shopping experience. You can watch netflix on flat screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom.
