Peaceful Sedella villa with heatable private pool

A comfortable detached home in the heart of the Axarquia, situated in a peaceful but not isolated location between the pretty villages of Sedella and Salares, Cinco Palmeras is the perfect place to relax with friends or family. The house has a lovely private, seasonally heated (chargeable) saltwater pool with stunning views over Mount Maroma and the local countryside. Take a seat on "The Lookout" after dark and be amazed by the stars and the silence. The space Fully equipped for up to 4 adults plus an infant, the house has two double bedrooms, a bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower plus an additional shower room. The living/dining room is bright, airy and comfortably furnished. There's a smart TV with IPTV which gives access to a wide range of UK channels, including Sky, as well as Netflix and Prime. There is also a DVD player and a selection of DVD's. We have a good internet connection and desk so that you can work in comfort if you need to. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of cutlery and crockery, a coffee machine, microwave/grill, a slow cooker, dishwasher, induction hob and oven. A good size fridge/freezer means you can stock up well when you arrive and then just kick back and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Both bedrooms and the living room have air-conditioning units, ceiling fans and insect screens on the windows. The bathroom and shower room both have underfloor heating for cooler spring and autumn stays. There is plenty of outside space to relax in and soak up the sun or read in the shade, and an outdoor kitchen area with a good quality gas BBQ. Guest access You will have the whole property for your private use. Other things to note The house is situated in the countryside around 1.5 kilometres from the main road, and a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk from Sedella which has a bar/restaurant, two further bars (one in the Church Square), and a small, but well stocked shop. More amenities (inclduing ATM's) are available in Competa (a 20 minute drive), and Canillas de Aceituno, also a 20 minute drive, but in the opposite direction. Malaga airport is just over an hour's drive, and the nearest beach at Torre Del Mar is 35 minutes away. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing break surrounded by nature you will love the location. If you want easy daily access to shops bars and restaurants you may find it too isolated. 2025 NEW ADDITION: We installed a pool heat pump and solar cover in April. The pool can be heated in the cooler months at a charge of €15 per day. If you require pool heating please inform us at least 3 days before you arrive, otherwise the water may not be warm enough at the beginning of your stay.
