Situated at the end of Plymouth’s Devil’s Point peninsula, this remarkable 1835 coastguard 3 bedroom cottage has spectacular views in three directions over Plymouth Sound, across the River Tamar towards Mount Edgcumbe in Cornwall and to the rear over the Royal William Yard towards Mount Wise, Devonport and Dartmoor (on a clear day). You'll have a great time at this wonderful & comfortable family home. The space This place has a cottage feel, but feels spacious and was restored in the early 1990s and improved again in 2022. and very popular for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. To take advantage of the views, the cottage has the delightful lounge area with lots of natural light, gorgeous sofa accented in blue hues and a kitchen-diner on the upper floor. The 3 bedrooms are on the lower floor (2 x double beds ,1 x king-size). For the young ones (up to 8 years old) who like to have their own bed, we have available 2 small folding beds. Fresh linen and towels provided in in all rooms, complemented with 2 bathrooms with toilets, plus one separate WC. There are nice comfortable sitting areas with tables on a front and on a rear private balcony, and also on the drive and on the private patio by the lower front door. Cushions and umbrellas for the outside sitting area are behind the sofa in the lounge. Other key features are: Modern fully fitted kitchen with quality cookware and what you’ll need should you wish to dine at home There is WiFi throughout the house, and for entertainment there are TVs, CD player and radio, games, DVD/Blu-Ray player and an electric piano in the lounge NOTE: - The two balconies, the driveway, the front garden, and the lower private patio provide a range of outside seating with protection in one or other area against most wind directions.
