Our residence is close to NYC. Public transportation to Times Square/ 42nd st. and is only steps away. NJ Transit and Newark Airport are 15 minutes away. We are close to Met Life Stadium, Prudential Center, American Dream Mall, Short Hills Mall, Jersey Gardens and a few Walmarts. We are located a few minutes from South Orange where SOPAC movie theatre is, Starbucks, Cold Stone Creamery, Parks, Distilleries and lots of eateries are located. It's a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. The space Our space is a 4- bedroom 2 bathroom space. First floor has one bathroom, a kitchen space, living room, and two bedrooms- 1 with a queen size bed, the other has a twin bed. Top floor has one bathroom and two bedrooms with a full-sized bed in each room. The back yard is fully accessible with a grill and fire-pit if you want to have a bonfire, roast marshmallows, grill, or just bond and hang out in the back. Guest access "The Dwelling Place is part of a two-family home, where guests have exclusive access to the top floor. The bottom half is occupied by our family, but we respect your privacy and space. You can fully enjoy the backyard, complete with a fire pit, grill, and seating. In the kitchen, you'll find cleaning supplies under the sink, a coffee maker with coffee and tea, and various condiments. We provide water in the fridge (no ice-maker, but ice-cube trays are available), as well as pans, a blender, toaster, and silverware. Both bathrooms feature shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers with Bath and Body Works products, plus hand and bar soap. There's a well-stocked first-aid kit under the sink in the lower floor bathroom, and travel-sized soaps for your convenience. Entertainment options include a TV with access to Netflix, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime. You'll also find a selection of board games for your family or guests to enjoy." Other things to note If you want to use the smart thermostat, you can adjust to heating and cooling. it's the round electronic object on the wall in the living room. You can turn the dial until you see an icon that looks like three wavy lines. You press on the circle and you will see option for heat, cool, heat/ cool, off. you can turn the dial to choose which one, click and turn the thermostat to the temperature you'd like. In the queen bed room, the closet has iron, iron board, step ladder, extra towels and sheets if needed. Queen bed headboard is also a charging port for your convenience.
