Set in its own private, south-facing elevated spot, this stylish retreat combines clean industrial lines with warm, Scandinavian-inspired finishes. The space Ascend the entryway steps into a bright, open-plan interior anchored by a fully fitted kitchen. Further inside, the main living area features a sofa, dining table, TV and Wifi along with a crackling log burner, making it an inviting haven after a day on the beach or walking along the Southwest Coast Path. Large sliding glass doors draw the eye outward onto a private, raised timber balcony the ideal vantage point for taking in morning ocean breezes or enjoying a quiet evening drink, watching the sunset and overlooking the valley below. Beyond the living zone lies a calm bedroom space with a double bed and wardrobe storage, leading into a en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Outdoors, a deck descends to a private garden complete with barbecue facilities. Positioned just a 2 minute walk down the road to the sands of Porthcothan Bay, The Lookout offers a uniquely elevated seaside escape (strictly adults only; no children or pets). Porthcothan Retreats itself has just under 4acres of land surrounding the 3 separate accommodations which leads along a boardwalk to the beach or into the valley. A micro vineyard, beehives and abundant wildlife makes this wider area extra special. Take a stroll through the vineyard, have a seat in our wooden gazebo or head into the valley following the public footpath all accessed from the site. As day turns to dusk, unwind with a barbecue, or head out to sample the world-class restaurants right on your doorstep in nearby Padstow or Newquay.
