Forest View Shepherd Hut

Nestled at the edge of the quiet village of Ewhurst is a peaceful small holding called Forest view farm. We have a beautiful Shepherds Hut sleeping two in a double bed, with a toilet and shower room kitchen facilities and a wood burner. Bedding and towels are provided along with logs. There will also be a selection of breakfast items for your stay, and our home produced free-range eggs. We can cater for specific dietary requirements if needed. The space Forest View Farm; home to three generations living the good life on their smallholding. Forest View is also home to free range chickens, ducks and geese, miniature Shetlands, horses, sheep and beautiful lambs in the Spring. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife including foxes, badgers and deer; and if you listen carefully, you will hear an array of wild birds including both Tawny and Barn owls. You may be lucky enough to get a glimpse of the Swallows that nest in the barn, or the Red Kites and Buzzards that are often spotted overhead. You may also hear the unusual calls of a Night Jar and nightingale that visits us throughout the year. There is also a firepit, perfect for a relaxing evening outdoors toasting marshmallows And we provide a BBQ and charcoal as well as logs Being located just outside of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there is miles of countryside for walking and cycling and you can be on designated paths to Pitch Hill or Leith Hill within 10 to 15 minutes. On a clear day at Leith Hill you can see across to London. There are many lovely pubs within walking distance or a short drive and plenty of places to eat.
