At the base of the National Forest, this mountainside sanctuary boasts of sunset, forest, & mountain views, while resting under a canopy of Silverado Canyon's timeless live oaks. Meticulously designed to either offer the perfect resting place after adventure or a meditative escape from city life, this enchanting nature oasis is a place to find your peace. The space The property is on a private lane and is separated into two areas: the cottages (2) and the main residence. The cottages have their own private walkway and entrance. The only shared locations are the parking/driveway area and the garage (if use of the larger refrigerator is requested or temporary storage of adventure equipment). Guest access THERE IS ONLY SPACE ON THE DRIVEWAY FOR ONE CAR PER UNIT. Please do not block the driveway as it is a firelane. Guests will stay exclusively in the guest cottage designated areas, unless prior arrangements with owners have been made in writing. Signs are posted throughout the property. Please see above for additional clarification. The property is also divided and secured in this way to ensure safety of four pets in primary residence area. Other things to note ***There is a two night minimum stay for this cottage location*** PLEASE PRINT THE DIRECTIONS PROVIDED OR MESSAGE ME BEFORE YOU DRIVE IN. THERE IS ONLY VERIZON IN THIS CANYON AND YOUR NAVIGATION WILL NOT WORK. I STRONGLY ADVISE NOT COMING IN AFTER DARK ON YOUR FIRST DRIVE IN. THE CANYON ROAD IS NOT WELL LIT. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MOUNTAIN/FOREST RETREAT. IF YOU ARE NOT ACCUSTOMED TO MOUNTAIN ROADS, INTERNET RECEPTION, AND RESIDENCES, this might not be the best choice for you. There is POISON OAK on the hillside behind this cottage, so please only walk up the hillside behind units where furnature is situated. Information on poison oak will be in your in room guide, as well as treatment on site of needed. There are also many resident wild animals living on property. SKUNKS are the most casual of these, and love to play throughout the night on the property. Although they are cute, please do not approach them, pet them, feed them, leave food out, or leave your doors open at any time. Although they have never sprayed a person or pet in six years here, if you approach them, they might. “Skunk Off” is available in your room TV cabinet if this should occur. They are silent, camouflaged, and sneaky, so remain aware. They also love the hammock. Finally, you may see the occasional mouse, squirrel, rat, snake, lizard, coyote, bobcat, owl, gopher, mole, cat, raccoon, mountain lion, deer, hawk, bat, or a variety of other wild animals while you are here. Unless they get into your cottage, they are mostly harmless. Do not approach wild animals and they will not approach you. Never feed or leave food/garbage outside. And never run from a lion…lol
