Relax by the lake 1 hour from Montreal, in the Laurentians, magnificent Vallée de Saint-Sauveur. Enjoy outdoor summer/winter activities (pedal boat, kayak, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, skiing) to recharge your batteries. Your dog is welcome with a fee, max 2 dogs (bowls, cushions, blanket provided). Fishing prohibited: protected and peaceful lake The space The chalet is fully equipped for the comfort of its guests. We rely on guests to treat the premises with the utmost care. The cottage is designed for 2 people at all times and a maximum of two dogs (indoors and outdoors). We have always been committed to supporting local businesses whenever possible and to reducing the environmental impact of stays. The following Quebec products are included: - Oneka: gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion - Myni: cleaning products - Unscented: laundry and dishwashing detergent Barista coffee and milk frother: - Drip coffee maker with Barista Africano coffee - Italian coffee maker with Barista Cremona coffee - Nespresso Original - 2 capsules provided per night Organic tea and herbal tea from Zyo: - Black tea - Green tea - Herbal teas (2 choices) Basic ingredients: - Organic sugar, salt, pepper, - Spices: basil, oregano, thyme / Tex Mex / Cajun / Sumac / Montreal Steak - Olive oil, balsamic vinegar and white vinegar Propane BBQ with cooking utensils Quality bedding with extra blankets and choice of pillows 4 bath towels in 2 sizes as well as 2 outdoor towels Kitchen linens and towels A 40 amp 14-50 type electrical outlet is available for your electric car. You'll need to use your mobile terminal (minimum 25-foot wire required).  Remote workspace with unlimited internet (Cogeco Fiber) For dogs: - A Pooshi dog cushion and blanket - bowls - towels to wipe off paws - protective cover for furniture - gate to leave the dog on the large balcony - life jacket (2 sizes 8-18 lbs and 50-90 lbs) For relaxation: - yoga mats, books and CDs available to guests Kayak (2), paddleboard, pedal boat and life jackets (1 XL, 1 L, 1 M, 1 S) A Nordic hot tub A security deposit of $500 is required for each stay. Guest access Unfenced land accessible to your dog who must respect the boundaries of the land. Other things to note Niksen Cabins wants to limit the impact on the environment one night at a time. Most of the products offered in bulk come from local suppliers. Composting and recycling are easily accessible to guests to reduce the impact of the stay. Your dog is welcome and we ask that you follow these requirements: - all excrement must be disposed of in the black garbage bin near the road - no dogs on the bed, sofa or outdoor furniture unless using the protective covers provided - the dog must stay on the property and not disturb the neighbors, keep it on a leash at all times if necessary - the dog owner is responsible for any damage caused by their dog and must clean and remove any hair and dirt that their dog may have caused - the chalet and the land must be left in the same condition as on arrival. - Additional charges may apply if the conditions are not met. NO SMOKING: No smoking or vaping inside the chalet, in the gazebo or on the porch. Any breach of this regulation automatically results in the deduction of the security deposit ($500), at a minimum.
