A private room in a warm and spacious home on a wonderful corner lot in Jefferson Park of East Point/Atlanta! Lots of street parking right outside. Take a leisurely walk through our beautiful quiet neighborhood before heading out for a night on the town or heading up for a little reading before bed. The space Our 2-story home is spacious, but warm and cozy. Colorful artwork on the walls is a great contrast to the neutral tones throughout. Our neighborhood is a great place for run, speed walk or a stroll. We're also close to busses, MARTA train and Atlanta airport. Check out some of the unique spots in downtown East Point, a 20-minute walk away. Guest access In addition to your private room on the 2nd floor, enjoy the use of our large front porch downstairs with plenty of seating for reading a book or people-watching. Create your culinary sensation in our well-appointed kitchen while checking out your favorite show streaming on the TV in our open-concept spacious living room. Then relax in our airy dining room to enjoy your 5-star creation. Spilled on your apron while cooking? Toss it in the washer just off the kitchen. During your stay My private space is just beyond the laundry area. I enjoy getting to know my guests, but our level of interaction is up to you. I'll be sharing the common spaces for cooking, eating my meals, doing my laundry and, sometimes, watching TV. I have my own porch in the back, but may decide to do a little people-watching from the front porch. Other things to note You have access to all common areas in our home (and there are plenty of them). The workspace is in a common area, but if you need to make a private work call, we can discuss you using my office on the 2nd floor. You can book 1 private room or book both rooms at the stated rate for each room. If you need to extend your stay, let's talk in advance. Unapproved overnight guests are not permitted. This is a non-smoking home; absolutely no cigarettes, pipes, vaping or weed. Be considerate of other guests and hosts by keeping your music and conversations quiet after 10:00 pm and before 9:00 am. You are responsible for keeping your room clean and removing and washing dirty dishes immediately after use, if you decide to take a meal in your room. Remove your laundry soon after washing so that others may use the washer and dryer easily. Remove your outdoor shoes at the front door to prevent tracking in allergens and dirt. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the house rules and requirements in the House Manual. Additions may be made at any time.
