Glamping in Småland I

In a field near grazing horses, you live in the middle of nature! You are surrounded by fresh air and the sounds of nature with birds and grazing horses. With a well-composed furnished tent, you get the convenience combined with the natural. The area is characterized by rolling fields and a rich animal and bird life around Lake Solgen. The farm offers cozy events, ice cream and a farm shop with local crafts, groceries, etc. The space GLAMPING WITH HORSES There are three glamping tents in two different sizes, LARGE and X-LARGE, with different sets of furniture. The tents have individual furnishings and the pictures are an example of what it can look like. In the tents, there is electricity for lighting and charging of smaller equipment, such as cell phones. Two friendly horses graze in the fields by the campsite. Toilet in the form of an outhouse is in the yard a short distance from the campsite. Sheets can be pre-ordered if you do not have your own, your own sleeping bag is not allowed, SEK 95 per person and stay. It is possible to store the mattresses so that there is more space in the tent during the day. When booking more than five or six people, you need to book more tents. Toilet At the campsite, there is a large container of water to wash hands or fill up on drinking water. On the property, there is an outdoor toilet, with lighting and a sink outside. The outhouse is located on the farm a few hundred meters from the campsite with a walk across the fields. There is no shower, access to hot water or water toilet. Swimming is done at the swimming area in the lake Solgen. BREAKFAST In some cases, a breakfast buffet for 150 per person can be offered. It is vegetarian and the possibility of gluten-free alternatives is offered to those who pre-order it. We reserve the right not to offer breakfast service on certain dates. PARKING The campsite is located a few hundred meters from the farm. There is a walkway in between. You park in the yard but can drive a little closer if you have a lot of luggage. ANIMALS On the farm, there is a cat, nice ducks and two horses that graze next to the campsite. For your own pets, read under "other information." FARM SHOP & EVENTS On the farm, there is a barn where you can shop and have coffee. Various activities are organized on the farm that you can book and participate in as well as book various treatments. You can also buy a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages. Please note that music can be heard from the barn on certain days. RELAX To be able to relax properly, we have a MOBILE FREE ZONE in the barn. Here you can enjoy the winds that blow, insect buzzing and tractor sounds that belong to the countryside accompanied by nice background music. THE AREA Now we are in the small village of Söraby in the Småland Highlands countryside. In the nearby area, there is a swimming lake and nice hiking areas as well as a couple of residential buildings a short distance away. There is also Mellby Church, a more than thousand-year-old very beautiful church with its bell tower in wood. Public swimming area is a ten-minute walk from the campsite, where there is also a barbecue area and toilet. You can also reach the swimming area by car. For those interested in nature, you can rent a kayak, swim, walk, pick blueberries and mushrooms, birdwatch and fish, etc. ACTIVITIES IN SMÅLAND There are a variety of sights and activities to find in the nearby area as well as in the region. Other things to note PETS There may be some possibility of bringing pets. All pets need to be declared and approved in the dialogue at the time of booking and we reserve the right to refuse pets. All animals are kept tethered at the campsite and yard, sleep in animal beds on the floor and do not stay in the furniture. SEK 250 per pet and stay where animal bed and water bowl are included. LIFE IN THE COUNTRYSIDE Living in the countryside means there are mosquitoes, wild animals and the usual smells and sounds associated with the countryside.
