1 bedroom basement apartment with living room, kitchen, and full bathroom with washer/dryer combo. Guests enter into a common area via door at back of home (through gate on left side of driveway). Apartment is downstairs from common area (through door to the left immediately upon entry). Common area doubles as a night-time sleeping area for our dogs (kenneled). The dogs are often roaming the backyard. They’ll approach you & try to play, if you let them. All of the animals are very friendly. The space Apartment is private, dedicated for your stay. Common Area: Enter home via common space (additional sitting room with 1/2 bath). Access private apartment is downstairs (through door to the left, immediately upon entry into the common area). *Common area doubles as a night-time sleeping area for our dogs (kenneled). In addition, the common space will be accessed by us (hosts) occasionally to attend to our dogs (let them in/out, and to feed them). Shared space: Large fenced in backyard with patio. Our dogs are often roaming the backyard. They are extremely friendly (& playful). They will approach you & try to play, if you let them. Guest access You will have access to the common area (entry room), your private apartment space, and the large fenced in backyard with patio. Other things to note Due to the fact that I have a service dog and other pets, I have a strict policy against hosting animals. Bringing in unfamiliar animals can upset my service animal and pose a potentially dangerous problem If the animals got into a dispute. — I follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts. Here are a few highlights: - I sanitize high-touch surfaces. - I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies. - I refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room. - I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay. The entire home runs on one system. If you feel chilly at all during your stay there are 3 separate heating elements for use in your private space. One is in the bedroom, and two are in the living area. The largest heating element will heat up the entire space, if desired.
