The space **This Airbnb is on the first floor below another Airbnb on the second floor. There are 5 stair-steps to get onto our front porch.* *This is a multi-family home. If you have never lived in a multi-unit dwelling, please note that you may potentially hear muffled noise and/or walking thru the walls. We always ask all guests to respect and be conscious of noise levels especially during later hours.* You may use this address to help you plan ahead and make a decision when booking :) it is very close to the actual location of the Airbnb: 2239 Pittston Avenue, Scranton, PA 18505 - Updated open concept condo with a lot of white and a lot of lighting. This apartment is totally independent and not shared with anyone. This unit is on the first floor of a 3 unit home. (This Airbnb is on the right-side of home with another Airbnb apartment above but not pet friendly. We reside on the left-side of the home) There is a sofa in the living room with a nicely sized TV. We hope you love our corner pineapple sitting area! Please make sure to take a picture within our Airbnb for future discounts :) information provided once inside. We also have a notepad we have left behind. We hope you may share all your tips and recommendations to future guests! Our kitchen is fully stocked with most cookware, pots, and pans. You will find a Brita water filter pitcher in the refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker, and a toaster. We love the "pay it forward" mentality. Therefore, some of our guests sometimes leave things behind. Whether it's something as simple as honey or even a delicious brownie mix, it's available for your pleasure, and please feel free to use it. The apartment is provided with: - Sheets - Towels - Shampoo, conditioner & body wash - Iron - Blow dryer - Cooking utensils - Coffee maker - Britta PUR Water Filter Pitcher - High-speed internet - Bedroom: 32" 4K TCL Smart flat-screen TV - Living room: 40" 4K TCL Smart flat-screen TV - Stainless steel fridge, stove, & microwave And more! Guest access *During the summer months, a window A/C will be available for use. During the winter months, a G00gle Nest Thermostat (mirror looking item in bedrrom) will be connected to control the steam heat.* Guests are provided with free wifi and free Netflix access. Our smart TVs have all applications available as well, in case you'd like to log onto your accounts during your stay. We do not have cable TV. However, we do provide free Netflix. The TVs, of course, have additional apps that you may log into if you are a subscribed member. **Please refrain from signing out of our dedicated Netflix Airbnb account. Thank you.** There is a front porch with furniture that you may gladly use during your stay. This unit has its own garbage area on the rear porch if the inside trash accumulates. (Black can for garbage and Blue can for recycling) We do tend to use the backyard and if you see us and would like to chat or hang, you are more than welcome to do so. At times, we do use our firepit or watch outdoor movies and we would never mind if you'd like to join. Other things to note *There are approximately 5 stair-steps to get on our front porch prior to entering the Airbnb* The airbnb is located across the street from a 1st-3rd grade school. During the school season, you may hear the morning announcements and children before starting classes. Also, buses do take children home and there is a small window of about 20 minutes that our street is closed. You may park on the side street which isn't too much of an inconvenience if reaching the airbnb during that time. We do live in an area with plenty of grass. You may hear grass cutting during your stay from neighbors and ourselves maintaining the lawn. *This is a multi-family home.
