All Frontdesk stays are contactless self-check-in and include Scout, our exclusive digital companion to guide you through everything you'll need before and during your time with us. We're also available 24/7 via text or phone and have a local team should you need anything.
Our two-bedroom apartment is furnished with everything you & your guests need to enjoy your stay in Des Moines! In the kitchen, you'll find beautiful appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and basic cookware to cook simple meals for a cozy night in! There's free WiFi! A washer and dryer are also available inside the apartment for your convenience. Your stay also includes access to the building's amenities, including: a seasonal pool (closed from mid September until early June), fitness center, and community grills.
There is one space in the building’s parking garage included with your stay. We cannot provide parking for additional vehicles and are not responsible for any damages that may occur as a result of using this amenity. We also cannot provide alternative parking for oversized vehicles that will not fit in the garage.
Anything in the apartment is yours to use. Make yourself at home once you arrive. We do not provide any tv cable or streaming services. However, we do offer Roku TV's with apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and more! Feel free to log into the apps with your own log in and enjoy!
The pool and gym are available to our guests but you may not invite anyone other than those staying with you to use them. Since we do not control these parts of the building, no refunds or credits will be made to reservations if these amenities are not available; whether for routine maintenance, closure for the season, or any other issue. Abusing these privileges may result in eviction from the property. Please feel free to reach out to us before your stay if you have questions about availability.
You can access the building anytime after 4pm by using the lockbox to obtain the keys. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. Our home is not baby-proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion.
East Village is known as Des Moines’ most vibrant and diverse district. History runs deep in East Village, recognized by historical museums and landmarks. Historical landmarks can be found throughout town and include the Liberty Bell Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Soldiers and Sailors Monument, and American Revolution Memorial.
Des Moines is known to be one of the easiest and fastest places to get around! The neighborhood is highly accessible by car, bike, bus, and even foot. The downtown trolley offers free rides during the weekdays and passes popular attractions throughout the city. The D-Line runs a free loop every 10 minutes, taking visitors and locals from the East Village to the Western Gateway. Feel like going for a walk? Downtown offers 4 miles of climate-controlled skywalks, that can take you from restaurants, to meeting spots, to local coffee shops. The Des Moines Regional Transit (DART) provides bus services throughout the metro area. Due to the popularity of the city, Uber and Lyft are also easily accessible.

Checkout is at 10 am. We offer a complimentary extension to 11 am as long as you request it 24 hours before your scheduled departure. Looking for more time? The latest we can accommodate is 1 pm at $25/per every hour needed.
Our stays have occupancy limitations created around local and state ordinances. It is our guest’s responsibility to abide by these ordinances; failing to do so could result in legal consequences. Before booking your reservation, please note the occupancy limit listed sometimes does not align with the number of beds offered. Please review the bed counts to determine if this stay will be sufficient for your needs.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or large gatherings. To ensure this in the most comfortable and least intrusive way possible, we use a noise sensor that simply measures the decibel level inside the stay; it does not record anything.

Most of our guests prefer to let themselves in with our lockbox entry system; however, we can be available upon request and are always available via phone call or text message should any questions or issues arise.
