Lots of beach this year - 2024 The water can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Even if it's stoney…it's fun to go stone collecting – Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options: ❄ Delay Your Arrival – If the cottage is available, you can shift your stay by a day or two. ❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you. ❄ Full Refund – If rescheduling isn’t possible, you can cancel for a full refund.
