Family-friendly summer house

Cozy, family-friendly cottage within walking distance to the forest and 10 minutes drive to the beach. Large bedroom with 3x90 cm family bed and lovely morning sun, smaller room with single bed, large open living room with beautiful light and connection to dining area and fully equipped kitchen. In addition, there is an annex with up to two beds. Large, undisturbed garden with spruce trees all around. Playhouse, trampoline and sandbox and campfire area. Wide, west-facing terrace with sun all day. The space The cottage consists of an east-facing bedroom with a triple bed with room for the whole family, a smaller room with a single bed and the possibility to put an extra mattress on the floor. Large open living room with wood-burning stove and connection to dining area and fully equipped kitchen, incl. dishwasher. Bathroom with toilet and shower. There is access to a washing machine and dryer in the workshop. In addition, there is a cozy, bright annex with a single bed and work table, if you need to retreat a little and possibly work. It is possible to add an extra box mattress if necessary, so the house can accommodate a total of seven people. The house is located on a 1400 m2 plot, which is shielded from the neighbors with dense spruce trees. In the garden there is a playhouse, trampoline and sandbox, fireplace and large lawn with plenty of opportunity for play and ball games. The wide terrace is west-facing and sunny all day from late morning to sunset. There are parasols, and you are welcome to use our kettle grill. Walking distance to forest (Ellinge Indhegning). The beach is about 3 km away. There is both Gudmindrup beach with the beach café "Haveje" or the less touristy and scenic beach a little further south, which you get to through the dunes, which is a protected natural area along the coast. The house is located in the area of Ellinge Kohave at Højby Sj. five minutes walk from the bus. It is possible to get there from Nørreport station in two hours. We don't have a car ourselves and usually manage with public transport. However, it is clearly an advantage to have a car if you want to experience a little more of Odsherred, and it undoubtedly makes shopping and a trip to the beach a lot easier. There are good shopping opportunities in Højby about 3 km away. Other activities in the area: Sommerland Zealand Odsherred Zoo (in Asnæs) Nygårdens farm shop and fruit plantation Nykøbing Sj. Miniature golf Crab fishing in Rørvig harbor. Guest access There is access to all parts of the home, main house, annex, workshop/utility room. The key fits all doors. Other things to note - We hope you have a nice vacation in our house and that you will take good care of our things and let us know if anything breaks. - Electricity and water usage are paid separately. The meter is read on arrival and departure, and is settled afterwards. - If you use the wood-burning stove as your primary source of heat, you'll have to buy firewood yourself. - Unfortunately, we can't provide bicycles. We usually bring our own from Copenhagen.
