With almost an acre, there is room for everyone to enjoy what this beautiful space has to offer. The Hideaway is updated, very comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood close to Olympic National Park! You will have full access to Lake Kokanee, Lake Cushman, trails, beaches, parks, disk golf, golf, swimming and year round fishing. Our property is family and dog friendly and even has a 50’ dog run! Enjoy nature, peace and quiet and a nice fire to keep you warm. Find us on IG @the_hideaway1 The 936 sqft cabin sits on almost an acre of beautifully treed and quiet slice of heaven. The lower level has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, an updated bathroom with amazing 12" rain shower head, a very comfortable living room with 2 couches, tv and a pellet stove. Also located downstairs is another queen bed and twin bunk beds located behind the couch area. Upstairs is an adorable living room with a couch, recliner, tv, dining table and full kitchen. There is a small BBQ on the upstairs porch. Please Note: THE ONLY WAY TO GET UPSTAIRS IS THE OUTSIDE STAIRCASE!!! For guests traveling with pets, we provide food & water dishes, pet towels for muddy paws and doggie bags. There is currently no added fee to bring your pet, and we hope to maintain that policy at The Hideaway. All the linens are high quality. In between each guest, all the bed linens are changed including the duvet covers, pillow covers, and mattress pads. This includes the throw blankets. You’ll have access to the entire cabin and all outdoor areas. Your stay includes a guest pass which gives you access to the private access lakes, beaches, parks, docks and swimming/fishing areas for residents and guests at Lake Cushman and Lake Kokanee. For guests bringing a watercraft: there is plenty of parking to accommodate a boat trailer in the driveway. Please note that the guest parking permit does not include watercraft launch permitting; guests must purchase a watercraft launch permit separately through Lake Cushman Maintenance Company. We are happy to provide instructions on how to do this; please note that arrangements should be made ahead of your arrival, as Lake Cushman Maintenance Company office hours are Monday-Friday (although pre-purchased permits can still be picked up outside of office hours). Please message with any questions or concerns. We do not live close to the property but will be available if you need anything. The property is located within Division 10 of the Lake Cushman HOA. Division 10 amenities include a covered gazebo with BBQs, fishing dock, children's swimming area, picnic tables, swings, slide, basketball court, horseshoe court, restrooms, and a public boat launch. The HOA is bound by strictly enforced quiet hours at night. You may see HOA security drive by from time to time. Cell service in the Lake Cushman/Lake Kokanee area is poor. This may impact one's ability to call for medical help, if needed. If wifi calling is enabled on your device there will be no issues while at the property. Lake Kokanee is within a 3-minute drive from the house. Lake Cushman is a 10-minute drive to the nearest boat launch, beach and park. Nearby recreation opportunities include: • 5-minute drive to the Lake Cushman golf course • 5-minute drive to the Hoodsport disk golf course • 10-minute drive to Lake Cushman Private Park (boat launch and beach) • 15-minute drive to Potlatch State Park • 30-minute drive to the Staircase entrance of Olympic National Park • 30-minute drive to Triton Cove State Park • 40-minute drive to Dosewallips State Park • 40-minute drive to Hood Canal Adventures (kayak rental, tours, and more) **Pets** Well-trained pets are welcome. Please let us know if you’ll be bringing your pet. Please note that we strictly do not allow pets on furniture including couches, throws, beds, pillows, and towels. Excessive pet mess found anywhere resulting in extra cleaning effort will be charged accordingly. Please do not leave pets unattended inside or outside. Please dispose of your pet’s waste in outdoor bins. This property is very quiet and has wonderful neighbors. Please make sure dogs are not a disturbance and stay on the property. There is a dog run and several tie ups available to use. Also be mindful that wildlife is present. Deer, raccoons and squirrels visit often.
