A truly unique house; each room is uniquely decorated, THE SNUG (CINEMA ROOM) Enjoy flamboyance and eclectic design in The Nest private cinema room. Think plush velvet interiors and striking décor, dimly lit by a red Moroccan chandelier, treading the line between absolute luxury and comfort. Dive into the velvet cinema sofa and expect an unforgettable ambience - watching movies on a 65 inch Sky Glass, with surround sound speakers that bring the drama & action to life. THE LIVING AREA The lounge and kitchen boast underfloor heating. The kitchen area boasts an idyllic island with two white high stools - perfect for late night chit chats or laptopping. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge-freezer, ice-machine, electric stove, dish washer, french coffee press, kettle, toaster, pans & all cooking utensils. The living area offers natural lighting, crushed velvet beige sofas, with floor to ceiling windows, white linen curtains, bi-fold doors that open onto a patio. Perfect for socializing, playing a game of cards or enjoying a nice drink. THE OFFICE Get work done on your stay at The Nest. A bright and inspirational space with wooden floors & a luxury leather desk combined with an avant-garde swivel leather seat that offers ergonomic benefit. THE MASTER BEDROOM & ENSUITE Unwind, rest and relax in this master bedroom (and our favorite room!). The Nest Master bedroom is a wellness and lifestyle haven with modern flooring, stylish wooden wardrobes, a freestanding luxury bath, and blue-gray ceiling beams that add a burst of character. Take a relaxing bath in our freestanding luxury bathtub. Enjoy the most comfortable sleep as the super king size bed boasts a high-quality luxury mattress and 400 thread count white cotton sheets. Adjoining the bedroom is an ensuite bathroom fitted with a rain shower, toilet and basin - each with a high-quality and modern finish. The floor to ceiling windows offer guests scenic views in nature - and the blush pink apex / angled curtains add a je ne sais quoi. Open up the doors & step out onto the balcony terrace to enjoy sunrise or sunset views across Ashdown forest, with treetop views that go for miles. To ensure a comfortable night's sleep, the sky windows have been fitted with black-out blinds. The room is also equipped with a mini ironing board. THE SECOND BATHROOM & ENSUITE The second master bedroom offers elegance and sophistication, with modern wooden floorboards and chic wooden shutters. Guest access Guests can use all spaces in the house and gardens. The house is on a residential road (surrounded by neighbors) but still has the remote / secluded feel of countryside living. The house borders Ashdown Forest with lovely walks, West Hoathly tennis club (10 minute walk) and The Cat pub (5 minutes walk). Other things to note We recommend bringing a car - or using the local cab company to get around to restaurants and supermarkets.
