Welcome to Jewel Box Cottage in historic Maysville, Kentucky. This 1930 craftsman home has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6. She exudes charm and has an exceptional location in the historic downtown area. Walk through Kentucky history as you make your way to downtown cafes, restaurants, boutiques and the Promenade along the Ohio River. She is not just pretty, the interior got a “Glow Up” in 2020 by a top decorator and features comfortable beds, lux towels and ample seating. A true Jewel Box The space After you walk across the front porch and enter the home you will be greeted by the living room, dining room, a full kitchen, 1/2 bath and the spectacular “Jewel room”. Ascending the uniquely craftsman wood staircase upstairs you will find a full bath, 3 bedrooms ( 2 with queen beds one with a king bed) and a sleeping porch surrounded by large windows. Outside there is a front porch where you can take a moment, people watch and enjoy the sound of town. The back is an unfenced yard with a stone patio. In the basement you will find a full sized washer and dryer for your use. Guest access The whole cottage is yours. Living places are upstairs there is a basement with a washer and dryer. Other things to note This home does have stairs to get in the front and back doors and unfortunately not handicap accessible. It is in the downtown area so street noise is as expected. The tv streams Hulu, Netflix and Amazon video. It is different from standard cable. You can search by tv shows / movies you enjoy.
