This cute 1 bedroom apartment is located at the HEART of our lovely town. Steps away from some of the most historic places in the entire United States. Come near the weekend and you can tour our informative museums and wayside exhibits while taking in the local culture. We are a close-knit town and are happy to show out-of-towners "the way". On days we are open enjoy a $15/day credit to our cafe next door. Please enjoy your stay! We are so sorry but no pets allowed. You'll enjoy a quiet living room, kitchen and a nice bedroom with a bank patio for some outdoor time. Have coffee/wine on your outside private back deck (our togo coffee window is open Fri - sat: 9am - 11:45am) and/or lunch at our cafe next door. Hours available on the mercury website. You will be given the equivalent of$15/person per day to spend how you'd like at the cafe in the form of a gift card. Whether it be daily coffee and baked goods or a big night out on the town, your choice on how to spend it. If your stay overlaps a Monday or Tuesday we will supply you with a $15 gift card per person, per day to our friends at Jessop's Tavern, a block away. There is a lovely double bed in the bedroom and if you need extra sleeping space we also have a comfy fold out love seat in the living room. You get the whole place! I live next door, above The Mercury. If you need anything, have questions, or need something fun to do just come on over to the cafe and ask. I most likely will be there and on the off chance I'm not one of my awesome employees/friends will be there to help ya out. :) The town is filled with many lovely people. This is a tight-knit community that genuinely cares about one another. Steeped in history, Old New Castle can't be beat. Truly an oasis awaiting your discovery. Our place is smack dab in the middle of museums, biking trails, tennis and basketball courts, and even a lovely dock for long walks. This unit is located within a larger building. The laundry room is next to your bedroom. There may be (probably not, but just letting you know) people doing laundry closer to the evening hours since they have access 24 hours a day. This is just an FYI for you before you book.
